"You love me. Real or not real?"

If you haven't read Suzanne's The Hunger Games trilogy yet, you must to understand the significance of that quote. To me, its one of the best ever written in the history of fiction. It makes my heart clench, lips smile and eyes water all at the same time. The simplicity of it just seems so real, as though it could actually be spoken from the mouth of a sixteen year old boy. Sure, Peeta was injected with tracker jacket venom by the Capitol, which caused him to hate and want to kill Katniss, the girl he was formerly willing to die for, but that's why its so great. Uprising or no uprising, those seven, basic little word, "You love me. Real or not real," convey such raw emotion they could have been spoken by anyone at any point in time.
Sci-fi stories are not normally my thing, but there is something so believable about the world Suzanne creates in The Hunger Games. If you haven't read the series yet...DO IT! I finished all three books in a matter of days, and am now on my third time of reading book number one, The Hunger Games.
What is your favourite quote of all time in fiction, be it women's contemporary, sci-fi or something else, and who is the character that spoke it? Why did you love it? To me, authenticity and relatability are essential when getting lost in a story. I fell head over heels in love with Peeta the second Suzanne wrote those words.

Hmm. I'd have to really think about that one. LOVE the quote from Peeta, though. Peeta's transformation after being hijacked, and then slowly back again, was so heartbreaking. For me, that was the best and most compelling part of Mockingjay.
